Getting Started with HydroMate

Welcome to HydroMate! This guide will help you get started with your wellness companion on Discord.

What is HydroMate?

HydroMate is a smart hydration reminder bot for Discord that helps you build healthy habits. It sends you reminders to drink water when you're online, tracks your progress, and motivates you with achievements and streaks.

Adding HydroMate to Your Server

  1. Click the Add to Discord button on our homepage
  2. Select the server where you want to add HydroMate
  3. Review and authorize the required permissions
  4. Click Authorize to complete the setup

That's it! HydroMate is now in your server.

Getting Your First Reminder

To start receiving hydration reminders:

  1. Use the command /reminder register in any channel
  2. HydroMate will confirm your registration
  3. You'll start receiving hourly reminders when you're online

Reminder Settings

By default, reminders are:

  • Sent once per hour when you're online
  • Delivered via Direct Message (DM)
  • Active during your online hours

You can customize these settings anytime using /reminder settings.

Responding to Reminders

When you receive a reminder:

  1. Click "✅ Hydrated!" to log your hydration
  2. Your streak will be maintained if you respond within the hour
  3. Track your progress with /stats
